Flush mount plate allows recessed mounting of Aprilaire standard humidistat(old style) on sheet metal ducting. Allows for proper operation and moisture sensing of humidistat. Duct mounted controls must be recessed so they can sample the air inside the ducting not the air around it. Use only with Aprilaire standard humidistat
